All-Girl Dance Team Steals The Show After Lights Go Out Halfway Through

When players on the Dodge City High School basketball team made it to the Tournament of Champions, the town was so proud – and yet it turned out that someone else managed to steal the spotlight!

To celebrate the opportunity to take place in the event and to honor the fact that their school was hosting the 76th tournament, the school opted to make the half-time show something special, and they certainly achieved their goal.

During half-time a group of high school girls took to the basketball court wearing short white dresses and halos.

One girl sang the popular song “Hallelujah” while the other girls danced in perfect choreography.

Never missing a beat, the girls stayed in step with one another, dancing in harmony.

Just when viewers didn’t think things could get any better, the lights went down, and the dresses began to light up and glow.

The tempo of the music went from soft to fast, and the girls sped up their performance to match.

The result was breath-taking with many people saying that it was better than any super-bowl show!

Right now, the video of the performance has gained over a million views on Youtube with countless positive comments.

A drill-team fan gave viewers a brief background on the school’s Facebook page, reporting that Dodge City High School has 2000 students with 81% being minority races.

Of the students, 76% are Hispanic. Rather than simply focus on education, Dodge City High school has a deep desire for students to also develop strong character and be respected.

The half-time show was considered a fine example of the school’s success at meeting their goals.

We look forward to seeing what the future holds for these talented young people and hope that they bring us another spectacular performance soon!
