Doctors Diagnosing Healthy People With Cancer To Make Money

You would think that your doctors are the first person you can trust when it comes to your health and wellbeing.

This is especially so when their entire profession centers around the best interest of their patient.

Alas, this is not the universal case as it should be.

Instead, healthcare in today’s capitalistic economy is designed to first and foremost prioritize money, often at the expense of the poor patient.

The reason behind this is because medicine and healthcare is a highly profitable business for the big pharmaceutical companies that dominate the industry.

This has unfortunately resulted in doctors falsely diagnosing their patients in the name of money.

Thankfully, many of these fraudulent doctors are getting arrested.

And with information being easily accessible and plenty, it is simple to arm yourself with the knowledge that can keep you aware and protect you from such fraudulent practices.

The latest case of busted fraudulent doctors is Dr. Farid Fata.

A doctor from Michigan, he was recently admitted to court due to intentionally diagnosing his patients incorrectly with cancer.

Not only did his patients have to needlessly suffer the emotional trauma of a cancer diagnosis, but they were also forced by this doctor to even undergo toxic chemotherapy under his administration.

All in the name of profits.

Alas, this sort of fraudulent practice is not a new trend.

According to retired oncologist Dr. Sayed Mohammed, such behavior had already existed since at least a decade ago.

He believes that these doctors are more akin to unscrupulous businessmen who operate with nary a conscience.

The difference is, their trade goods are your health and wellbeing.

You would assume that such behavior would land the practitioner in jail quickly.

Sadly, if Dr. Fata’s case is of any indication, this is not the case.

He managed to run this scam of his undetected for 7 years, with a patient load of 1,200 people and a profit of $62 million from Medicare.

While it is likely some of these victims may genuinely have had cancer, the bulk of his victims were still likely left saddled with the health consequences of misapplied chemotherapy and the financial costs it brings.

The reason for the prevalence of this practice is because of the profits to be found in keeping their patients ill.

Healthy customers have no need of the medication and services provided by the pharmaceutical industry.

To avoid becoming a victim of a similar fate, always insist on a second or even third opinion over a diagnosis, especially if something feels wrong about the initial diagnosis.

When considering treatment plans, always choose one that you are comfortable with.

The easiest cure, however, is prevention.

Watch your diet and health, and ensure you get enough sleep and water.

On top of all that, don’t forget to have regular exercise and destress.

Prevention is always better than cure, and it is easier to maintain and better preexisting health.

This way, you will reduce your chances of falling seriously ill in the first place!
