Hotel Manager Tries To Overcharge An Elderly Woman

The elderly are often seen as those who are weak and who need help. Most elderly individuals are strong and will do whatever it takes to survive.

Those who think that they can pull a fast one off against someone who is elderly will usually find that they will lose because of the wisdom and experience that the person has behind them.

People who are younger are often taught valuable lessons when they do try to appear as though they have more knowledge than someone who is older.

When an older woman wanted to spend the night in a hotel, the hotel thought that it would be able to leave her with a higher bill, but the woman was the one laughing when she checked out.

The woman wanted to treat herself for her 70th birthday, so she decided to stay in a hotel to receive a few comforts that she didn’t have at home.

Her bill was $250 when she checked out the next morning, and she wanted to know why it was so high as she wasn’t staying in a hotel that was that fancy.

The woman exclaimed that she didn’t even eat the breakfast offered by the hotel that morning.

The manager explained that the $250 was just the standard rate. He also told her that she could enjoy the breakfast served as it was included in her bill.

Upon further explanation, the manager indicated that the hotel features a large swimming pool and a spacious business room.

However, the woman let the manager know that she didn’t use these amenities.

He also told her that she could have attended one of the shows performed at the hotel.

After all of the amenities were discussed, the woman told the manager that she didn’t use any of them and that she wasn’t going to pay for something that she didn’t use.

Seeing that the manager wasn’t going to budge, the woman wrote a check for her bill.

When the manager saw the amount, he informed her that it was only for $50. The woman charged him $200 for sleeping with her.

He exclaimed that he didn’t, and the woman informed him that he could have if he wanted.

This simple lesson let the younger manager and employees know that they shouldn’t mess with the elderly.
