Husband Spots Wife Eating Alone In Work Clothes, Pens Down Touching Post For Her

Jessica works as a nurse in Rome, New York. Her shifts last 14 hours every day, so she often feels overworked.

Her husband, Philip Urtz, waits for her to come home daily, and one day, he decided to take a picture as she ate her quick dinner after her long shift.

Philip posted the picture on Facebook, on the page Love What Matters, alongside a beautiful and heartwarming tribute to her to show how much he loves and appreciates his wife.

He talked about everything she did, and how hard he worked, and how much he loved her. The result? A mini-essay sure to bring a tear to the eyes of romance-lovers!

The picture showed Jessica quickly eating a simple sandwich for dinner.

She had just come home from a 14-hour shift and just only had enough time to eat a quick dinner and prepare for bed before she needed to return to the hospital to do it all over again.

And her husband couldn’t be prouder.

Every morning, she gets up very early and prefers not to be bothered so she can get things done as quickly as possible – something Philip definitely respects.

She quickly showers, ties her hair up, packs her lunch and heads off quickly after giving her loving husband and her precious pet dog a kiss.

Jessica’s job involves taking care of just about anyone who comes through the door of her unit in the hospital.

It doesn’t matter who they are or what has happened to them, or how severe the ailment is.

These patients are experiencing possibly the worst days of their lives, and Jessica works tirelessly through the day to make sure they feel better and are getting the help they need.

Sometimes, Jessica gets so busy at work that she doesn’t have time to sit down throughout the day and often winds up working through her lunch hour.

After her shifts, she comes home and just wants to sit and rest for a while.

She kicks off her shoes and collapses into a chair. Philip knows she prefers not to talk about her day, since her day can be a mess of blood, tears, and even death.

So Philip tries his best to be patient and understanding to his incredible wife and works to make her feel at home.

Although people who don’t work in this profession could not truly understand what it’s like to work a job like Jessica’s, Philip does the next best thing – he listens to her and supports her, as any good partner should!

He is always ready to listen if she ever wants to talk about her often stressful work. To Philip, his wife is his hero.

Stories like this aren’t out of place on the Love What Matters Facebook page, which features heartfelt, touching stories from people all around the world, showcasing what really, truly matters.

Many people share things that have happened to them or that they know of, along with photos and videos.

Philip’s story may be one of many, but it has touched the hearts of everyone.
