Man Finds Hidden Lunch Box In The Attic, Turns White As A Ghost When He Pries It Open

When you’re searching around areas of your home, you never know what you might find.

A couple decided to renovate their basement from what it looked like when the previous owners were there.

As they started removing items from the basement, they discovered something shocking.

They looked at the ceiling of the basement and saw an old lunchbox just sitting on the rafters.

After removing the lunchbox, the couple decided to open it to see what was inside.

The contents inside the lunchbox were so surprising that it was as though they had seen a ghost.

Some might think that the contents of the box were just old collectibles that could be thrown away, but the couple realized their value soon after opening the lid.

The items would be so special that they would change the lives of the couple.

The house that the couple lives in was built in the 1940s. It wasn’t remodeled until the couple purchased it, which was over 50 years after the house was built.

After they saw the contents, the couple documented everything that was inside the lunchbox and took pictures.

The man felt around and knew that there weren’t coins inside. It could have been some type of card.

Upon further inspection, the man realized it was an old newspaper. The paper was dated March 25, 1951. Other items in the lunchbox were wrapped in paper as well.

The couple dug through the remaining contents and saw several other old newspapers.

As they unwrapped the items inside the paper, they saw that it was stacks upon stacks of money. The stacks were of $20 bills.

The couple didn’t know what to think as they weren’t sure if what they were seeing was real or not.

As they started unwrapping other stacks, they saw that the denominations increased.

The owner of the box passed away a few years ago, so there was no way to give the money back to her.

Since they owned the home, they were allowed to keep the money.

A short time later, they found another lunchbox. There was money in that one as well.

The total amount found in the home was $45,000, all of which the couple put in their bank account.
