As an exceptionally fortunate man named Jason ate at Taco Bell one day, he caught site of a man near the register who was wearing a uniform.

He then saw something that inspired him to video record a moment on his phone, a moment he thought should be shared.

Also at Taco Bell at the time was Army Lt. Col. Robert Risdon. This serviceman, whose base is presently located at Fort Benning, Georgia, has two children.

While Army Lt. Col. Robert Risdon was sitting down eating, a 9-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy walked through the door with the intent to raise church money by selling deserts made by hand.

The boys were shivering from the cold, and they were wet. The serviceman noticed this, and he questioned the boys to find out if they had eaten dinner.

They respectfully told him they hadn’t eaten.

Meanwhile, another diner luckily caught the event on video.

The act of kindness Jason saw had such a strong influence on him he made the decision to post the video he recorded on Facebook, and he decided to encourage sharing it.

This kind soul was going to purchase dinner for them, he stated.

Jason also said that he had the desire to record them on video and let the world see what a benevolent person the serviceman was.

He stated that our soldiers continuously care for us. Thanks Lt. Col. Robert Risdon. Will you please tell others…?

The younger boy said he would like to be the same as you when he becomes an adult, and he gave the serviceman a salute.
