A family of Asian tourists were roaming the streets when a group of men accosted them.
It was evident that the family’s MAGA hats triggered the harassers.
A bystander was recording the incident and later uploaded it to social media.
In the harrowing 15-second clip, the anti-Trump bunch is seen snatching the caps off of the family’s heads and tossing them in the air.
The Asian tourists bear incredulous looks as the harassment persists.
When one of the hats falls to the ground, another man begins stomping on it.
This mayhem is all happening on a crosswalk.
The people nearby were undoubtedly getting a show.
Fortunately, the tourists didn’t echo the childish behavior they were receiving.
Surprisingly, a group of Twitter-goers were quick to condone these disgraceful actions.
Someone was bold enough to say that they supported the tormentors 100 percent.
Others left laughing emojis to express just how comical it was to watch unsuspecting victims get badgered in the middle of the street while on vacation.
To top it off, one commenter said that the “tone had just been set.”
In other words, the men had sparked a violent crusade against Trump supporters.
On the opposite end of the spectrum were those who couldn’t believe the levels of disrespect that were displayed.
One person suggested seeking legal action.
In their opinion, the assault was grounds for a lawsuit.
Another individual shrewdly pointed out that there’s no sense in fighting hate with hate.
After all, an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind.
It remains unknown whether or not anyone will face any consequences.
